Selection is a venue for private celebrations in a restored historic mill on Słodowa Island, a few minutes’ walk from the Market Square. We host banquets for up to 145 guests: weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, studniówki (Polish high-school proms), corporate evenings and Christmas dinners.
For a private party, the whole venue is yours exclusively. There is no hall-hire fee — instead there is a deposit: the minimum value of the evening, spent in full on food and drinks. We put the menu together with you, and our manager looks after the evening from start to finish.

Banquets & private celebrations — FAQ
How many guests does the hall hold?
We host banquets for up to 145 guests. Smaller groups are welcome in the upper-floor lounge, and parties of up to twelve in the private VIP room.
Can we book the whole venue exclusively?
Yes. There is no hire fee — there is a deposit instead: the minimum value of the evening, spent in full on food and drinks. The amount depends on the day of the week, so we prepare an offer for your specific date.
How much does a banquet cost?
From about 200 zł per guest, depending on the menu and the number of guests. Every offer is priced individually, and the final bill follows what was actually ordered.
Is there a DJ?
A DJ plays on Fridays and Saturdays, and there is live music on Sundays. For a private party we provide a DJ and sound system; details are agreed in the offer.
Do you host studniówki (high-school proms)?
Yes. For a studniówka the whole venue is yours exclusively — up to 145 guests, with a DJ and a dance floor. We agree the menu and the running order with the organisers; it is worth booking early, as studniówki mostly take place in January and February.
